Halloween Plans Pending As Pandemic Continues In The Bay State

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Labor Day weekend has unofficially marked the end of summer, so now is the time many begin to think about Halloween.

According to Governor Charlie Baker, although costumes are easy, trick or treating and candy acquisition may be difficult.

"Whatever we would choose to offer on this issue is going to be reflective of the fact that different communities are at different places with respect to how they handle this," Baker said.

The Governor does point out that Halloween is still a ways off and plans may change between now and the spooky holiday.

Weeks ago, WBZ NewsRadio reported on how Salem has canceled most of its Halloween celebrations already.
