The National Weather Service is reporting that multiple areas have crossed the 30” mark for accumulation, as of 1:45 a.m. Sunday:

208 outbound flights have been cancelled at Logan International Airport as of 8:24 a.m. Sunday, according to tracking site flightaware.com. 1,291 flights have been cancelled within, into, or out of the United States.

MEMA is reporting more than 116K outages across Mass., as of 2:02 p.m.:

Update (12:50 p.m. Saturday):

Blizzard warnings remains in effect for parts of Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island through 5 a.m. Sunday. Winter storm warnings remain in effect further inland through midnight Saturday night. There is also a coastal flood advisory until midnight Saturday night.

Through this evening, expect conditions to remain very windy with heavy snow. With snow rates of over 2 inches per hour at times and strong winds, expect blizzard conditions with near-zero visibility and immobilized travel into Saturday night.

Total storm accumulations of 2-3 feet are expected around Greater Boston, with around 1-2 feet farther south along the south coast and islands, and areas well to the north and west, according to AccuWeather.

Winds gusting to 50 mph near the city, and as high 90 mph near the south coast and Cape will cause drifts that can bury vehicles and reach the second story of many homes and buildings, as well as widespread, long-lasting power outages. Coastal flooding and overwash are also likely, leading to general travel and schedule disruptions that could last a couple of days.

Temperatures will be in the teens during the storm, with AccuWeather RealFeel(R) temperatures well below zero.

It will remain blustery later tonight with blowing and drifting snow. Low 9, RealFeels again below zero.

For tomorrow, it will be windy and cold, despite sun. Blowing snow will continue to cause travel problems. Highs will hover between 20-25; RealFeels(R) in the teens.

Today and tonight: very windy with heavy snow. With snow rates of
