BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - It may be our last hurrah for the season, with temperatures set to hit 70 degrees Friday straight on through Monday.
It'll be the perfect weekend to get outside and do some of that much needed leaf raking or other yard work before the first real frost of the season. Others might be looking for one last beach day of the year. Either way, the sun will be shining and records could potentially be broken.
The entire state is coming off a rather toasty October, historically speaking. Boston, Worcester and Springfield, were all warmer than expected over the course of the month.
On Friday temperatures are expected to break into the 70s across the state. Keeping up with the last few days of beautiful weather.
On Saturday, Boston could hit 75 degrees, but likely won't surpass the current record of 79, set back in 1994.
Sunday is most likely when records will be broken with temperatures forecast within a degree or two of current records.
