BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) -- Starting Monday, everyone sixteen and over will be eligible to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Massachusetts is one of the last states to make the shots available to the general public.
An additional 1.7 million people will be able to book their appointment, so officials have said to be patient with finding availability.

Diana Rastegayeva, the leader MA Covid Vaccination Help, told WBZ-TV her tricks to securing an appointment in a timely manner.
“I would strongly suggest going to macovidvaccines.com and signing up for alerts there. That will text you if there’s a number of vaccine appointments available. Or following @vaccinetime on Twitter,” Rastegayeva said.
On Monday, New Hampshire will expand eligibility to non-residents.
