BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A day after anointing himself "Batman," Boston Celtics Forward Grant Williams has taken it upon himself to categorize each of his teammates as Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Here's the list of superheroes Williams decided best fit his teammates:
- Marcus Smart: The Incredible Hulk
- Al Horford: Captain America
- Jaylen Brown: Black Panther
- Robert Williams III: Thor
- Daniel Theis: Captain Marvel
"One of the most hated movies, but we appreciate him," Williams said.
- Jayson Tatum: Vision
"Most powerful, most important in most movies," Williams said.
- Payton Pritchard: Quicksilver
- Matt Ryan: Star-Lord
- Malik Fitts: Dr. Strange
- Brodric Thomas: Rocket
- Derrick White: Iron Man
"I just found out I was Iron Man and I'll take it, I'm not gonna complain with Iron Man," White said.
- Aaron Nesmith: Drax
- Sam Hauser: Hawkeye
- Luke Kornet: Groot
- Ime Udoka: Nick Fury
- Nik Stauskas: Ant-Man

Williams said that he is still "Batman," but that since he is naming characters from the MCU he's "Spiderman."
