BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston University announced that all students enrolled in classes will be required to have the COVID-19 vaccination this coming fall semester.
A few other local colleges and universities have also decided whether or not students will need to be fully vaccinated before returning to campus:
Northeastern University announced on Tuesday that students will be required to have the COVID vaccine for the fall semester. The university said it is looking forward to a “normal” semester.
Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island will require the vaccine for all students.
UMass Lowell told WBZ-TV that they do not plan to require a COVID-19 vaccination as of now, but will strongly encourage it.
No other schools have made a formal announcement at this time.
