BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you plan on going to Game 7 plan to leave the car at home.
Boston City officials announced new temporary parking restrictions Wednesday. They will affect areas around TD Garden, Faneuil Hall, and Fenway Park/Kenmore Square starting around 4 p.m. and lasting through early Thursday morning.
The Boston Bruins and The St. Louis Blues face off at the TD Garden at shortly after 8:00 p.m -- the last game in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
According to Boston city officials they urge anyone heading into the city for the game to not drive and seek alternative ways to get into the city.
Here is a list of traffic and parking restrictions:
Traffic Restrictions
At 4 p.m., Canal Street, between Valenti Way and Causeway Street, will close to traffic.
Shortly after the start of the game at 8 p.m., the following streets bordered by North Washington Street and Merrimac Street will close to traffic between Valenti Way and Causeway Street.
- Merrimac Street
- Lancaster Street
- Portland Street
- Friend Street
- Haverhill Street
- Beverly Street
- Medford Street
These streets will reopen to traffic at the discretion of the Boston Police Department. BPD will also restrict traffic on additional streets in the City of Boston as necessary.

- Canal Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to New Chardon Street
- Haverhill Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to North Washington Street
- New Chardon Street, Both sides, Cambridge Street to Merrimac Street

North Station Area:
- Beverly Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to North Washington Street
- Causeway Street, Both sides, North Washington Street to Merrimac Street
- Commercial Street, skating rink side, Hull Street to North Washington Street
- Friend Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to New Chardon Street
- Lancaster Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to Merrimac Street
- Medford Street, Both sides, North Washington Street to Causeway Street
- Merrimac Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to New Chardon Street
- Portland Street, Both sides, Merrimac Street to Causeway Street
- Rip Valenti Way, Both sides, Merrimac Street to North Washington Street
- North Washington Street, Both sides, Causeway Street to Cross Street
- Nashua Street, Both sides, Red Auerbach Way to Leverett Circle (for charter bus pick-up and drop-off purposes).
Faneuil Hall Area:
- Cambridge Street, Both sides, Court Street to Hancock Street.
- Clinton Street, Both sides, Surface Road to North Street.
- Hanover Street, Both sides, Congress Street to Surface Road.
- North Street, Both sides, Congress Street to Surface Road.
- Staniford Street, Both sides, Cambridge Street to Merrimac Street
- Union Street, Both sides, North Street to Hanover Street
Fenway Park/Kenmore Square Area:
- Brookline Avenue, Both sides, Jersey Street to Commonwealth Avenue
- Beacon Street (Kenmore Square), Both sides, Bay State Road to Deerfield Street
- Commonwealth Avenue (Kenmore Square), Both sides, Brookline Avenue to Kenmore Street
- Lansdowne Street, Both sides, Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street
- Van Ness Street, Both sides, Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street
- Jersey Street, Both sides, Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue
