1 Dead, Several Injured Following Attleboro Rollover Crash

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A rollover crash on Route 95 in Attleboro Saturday morning has left two people dead. They were both adult men who were in the a van, which was part of a tour group that serves the Polish-American community, when it rolled over.

According to Massachusetts State Police, the van rolled over after it was struck by another car in an adjacent lane. Eleven people were ejected from the vehicle. The van crashed in the southbound lane of the highway after both vehicles went over the median.

The people who were in the van were transported to a local hospital, where one person was pronounced dead. The driver of the other car, a 2018 Toyota Rav 4, was also transported to a local hospital.

The incident is currently under investigation. Authorities completely closed a portion of the highway that was near the site of the crash to begin their investigation and clear away the wreckage. All lanes have since been reopened.

Significant traffic delays were seen in the area.
