Foo Fighters Cancel All Upcoming Tours, Boston Calling Performance

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Following the death of the Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins, the band announced on Tuesday that they are pulling out of all upcoming tour dates, which includes their scheduled appearance at Boston Calling 2022.

On Twitter, Boston Calling released a statement confirming that the Foo Fighters' performance set to headline on Friday, May 27 has been canceled.

"Following the loss of beloved drummer Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters have canceled all upcoming shows, including headlining at Boston Calling. We extend our deepest condolences to the band, Taylor Hawkins’ loved ones & fans around the world," Boston Calling said.

The festival did not say who would replace the Foo Fighters as Friday's headliner but said that a new performance is set to be announced soon.
