CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Stuffing is a staple at the dinner table for Thanksgiving and an ice cream parlor in Cambridge, Mass. decided to join the fun.
Honeycomb Creamery created a seasonal Thanksgiving flavor called "Cranberry Cornbread Stuffing Ice Cream,” using sage ice cream, crumbled cornbread and cranberry sauce. This is not their first time experimenting with new flavors, creating a delicious cornbread sundae over the summer.
“People really seemed to love it so we were like, how can we bring this back,” said Honeycomb Creamery Retail Manager Ashlee.
WBZ NewsRadio’s own Madison Rogers tried the seasonal flavor and was blown away.
“It reminds me of my favorite bite of Thanksgiving where you get the stuffing and just a little bit of the cranberry sauce on there too,” said Rogers.
Although they are closed for Thanksgiving until Monday, they expect to have the flavor through the end of the month.
