BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Veterans Day is just around the corner and there are lots of deals happening around the state to show appreciation for those who serve.
Here are just a few of the many events and opportunities for veterans and their families:
The Museum of Science is offering veterans complimentary admission to Exhibit Halls on Nov. 11. To get the deal, you must bring a Military ID.
Legal Sea Foods is giving out free cups of clam chowder to those who served.
The Ninety-Nine is celebrating early. Veterans can get free lunch on Friday until 5 p.m. off the Veterans Day menu.

Service members can go to the USS Constitution Museum for free from Nov. 10-12. Throughout the weekend, several events are happening to honor veterans. There will be a letters of gratitude write-a-thon, maker activities to spread kindness, and free admission for military families.
On Saturday, a special veterans-only tour of Old Ironsides will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Those interested can click here to register.
Out in the western part of the state Six Flags New England is recognizing and honoring veterans and active military members. Veterans, retired military and active duty personnel are provided with a complimentary park admission and discounts for friends and family when they present a valid military ID. Celebrate and honor our nation’s heroes this Veterans Day Weekend, November 11 – 12, noon to 7 p.m. at Six Flags New England.
