BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Many flight cancellations and delays were seen at Boston Logan International Airport on Saturday due to bad weather.
According to FlightAware, nearly 350 flights were delayed and about three dozen flights were cancelled.
WBZ NewsRadio's Kevin Coleman spoke to people waiting for flights at the airport.
"It's just scary to think of them up there circling," one woman said of waiting for her granddaughter's flight to land in Boston. "They're on the ground now, so that's good."
A severe thunderstorm warning was put in effect across Massachusetts during the afternoon. Thousands of power outages were also reported.
