WALTHAM (WBZ NewsRadio) — Warm weather is right around the corner, so restaurants on Moody St. in Waltham are preparing for another summer with COVID-19.
Many restaurants are hoping for Waltham’s Traffic Commission to sign off on pedestrian-only traffic throughout the area.
Last summer, Waltham approved outdoor dining and pedestrian only traffic.
Erin Barnacle, the general manager of Tempo, says that making the streets available “gives [them] the opportunity to have some success over the summer that we all really need.”
This approval will greatly help businesses stay afloat as the winter has caused closures and hardships for so many.
