BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police are investigating a break-in and a string of "Peeping Tom" incidents in Brighton.

Police said they were called to an apartment early Tuesday morning at about 4:00 AM. A woman at the scene told officers that she had been sleeping, and woke up to find an unknown man standing in her bedroom.

Police said the suspect was a slim white male who was about 5'6", "wearing dark fleece sweater and dark colored jeans."

The victim told police she confronted the victim, who then ran away — police searched the area but couldn't find anyone. The same victim told police she found a man standing on her fire escape trying to peer through her window about a month ago.

Police said there had been two similar incidents in Brighton just in the last few days, one at 1412 Commonwealth Ave. on Monday, and another at 6 Camelot Court on Tuesday, both around midnight.
