REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Funeral arrangements are set for Massachusetts State Trooper Tamar Bucci, who was killed in a crash on I-93 last week.
The State Police said Bucci's wake will be on Tuesday, March 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere. Her funeral mass will be held on the next day, Wednesday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at the same church.
This past Saturday, law enforcement officers and community members held a procession for Bucci, as her body was transported from the medical examiner's officein Boston to the Barile Funeral Home in Stoneham.
Bucci died on Thursday, March 3 when her cruiser was struck by a tanker truck carrying over 10,000 gallons of gasoline along I-93 at around 11:45 p.m. She was pulling over to assist a disabled vehicle at the time of the crash.

The Andover native went to Andover High School and Middlesex Community College before joining the State Police. She had been a state trooper for two years prior to her death.
Bucci is the 22nd state trooper to die in the line of duty. She was 34.
