TAUNTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A suspect is in custody after a two people were stabbed Sunday morning on a residential street in Taunton.
Emergency dispatchers received a call at around 11 a.m. Sunday about the stabbing on Cohannet Street.
Upon arrival, police found two adult victims suffering from stab wounds.
"The victims were transported to local hospitals to be treated for injuries that are considered to be serious," Taunton Police Department said. "At this time, police do not believe that the incident was random, and the suspect is in custody."
The incident is still under active investigation.
