Boston's Ice Skating Rink Opened To Public On Saturday For Winter Season

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston's winter playground opened for its third winter season on Saturday.

The Rink at 401 Park opened with a 1980s Aspen-themed celebration Saturday morning. Skating lessons are offered at the ice rink in addition to a broomball league. For entertainment, the public can enjoy skating shows at the rink during the season, according to Fenway.

Skaters can enjoy food and beverages at Time Out Market and Trillium Fenway, on either side of the Rink. On Fridays and Saturdays Time Out Market's pop-up Après Skate Bar is open with seasonally inspired concessions for the public to enjoy.

The rink is open to the public Monday through Friday from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. On Saturdays, the rink is open from 11 A.M. to 10 P.M., and on Sundays, it is open until 8 P.M. Attendees can purchase tickets online or at the door.
