BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Governor Maura Healey got into the spirit of the roast at her first Boston Saint Patrick's Day Breakfast.

State Senator Nick Collins hosted this year's annual breakfast on Sunday morning at the Ironworkers Local 7 Union Hall in South Boston. The breakfast brings local politicians together for a morning of celebrating Boston's Irish heritage with some comedic relief.

Governor Healey poked fun at local politicians, tossing in a joke about Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll.

"The question I think I get asked most is what exactly does the lieutenant governor do?" Governor Healey joked.

Senator Elizabeth Warren used her time at the mic as an opportunity to make a joke or two about one news station.

"This Saint Patrick's Day we honor those who are full of blarney and tell tall tales, you know everyone on Fox News," Senator Warren said.
