Man Struck And Killed By Train On The MBTA Red Line

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM) A man was struck and killed by a train on the MBTA  Red Line around 7am this morning according to transit police.  The 66 year old man was trespassing when he was struck about 10 yards into the northbound tunnel of the Porter Square Station in Cambridge. First responders say the man died at the scene.

Service was temporarily suspended but has now resumed a normal schedule. Transit police detectives and the Middlesex District Attorney's office are investigating but say no foul play is suspected.
