Boston Gay Bar Is Threatened

BOSTON, MA (WBZ-AM)---Alley Bar, a gay club in downtown Boston, received a threatening phone call last night.  Five Boston police officers responded to the report around 7 p.m. The bar’s manager said a doorman answered the call and heard the threats which were bad enough that they decided to call the police.

Police are investigating and have a good lead after the bar obtained the threatening caller’s information by using the *69 feature on its telephone. The only detail currently being released is that the caller is from Peabody.
