Search Continues For Car Involved In Fatal West Boylston Hit-And-Run

WEST BOYLSTON, Mass. (WBZ-AM) — State police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old Leonminster woman who was hit by two vehicles on Interstate 190 in West Boylston.

Police said the incident happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday morning after Smarlyn Pamela Reyes' car flipped over into the median.

According to investigators, Reyes got out of the car and walked back onto the highway, where she was hit in the right travel lane by a car that did not stop. She was then hit by a second vehicle. The driver of the second car pulled over.

Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene. A search is continuing for the first vehicle.
