FALL RIVER, MA (WBZ-AM) -- Fire Officials in Fall River are looking into the death of a man after a fire at his home over the weekend.
WPRI-TV reports that first responders from the Fall River Fire Department responded to a home on Montaup Street on Sunday shortly after 1 a.m.
They say that a 69-year-old man was trapped on the second floor of the house. Although he was rescued, he later died at a local hospital.
The State's Fire Marshall Office says that that the fire appears to be accidental.
