HOUSTON, TX (WBZ-AM)--Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving took a moment before Thursday's game against the Houston Rockets to give a homeless man a helping hand.
According to eyewitness Thomas Moreno, the NBA star reached into his wallet when a man asked him for help as he was walking to the Celtics' team bus. Moreno told TMZ Sports that Irving handed the guy $240 in cash, a moment he caught on video.
And the game? The Celtics lost 127 - 113 but Irving had 11 assists, not including the one by the bus.
