Arrest Made In Methuen Shooting

METHUEN, MA (WBZ-AM) — Police in Methuen have made an arrest connected to a shooting at a McDonalds on Haverhill Street  Monday night. 

WBZ-TV Anna Meiler reports, Yolanda Hernandez of Lawrence has been charged with assault and battery and accessory after the fact. 

A man who wanted to sell two car doors thought he was meeting a prospective buyer in the parking lot of a McDonalds. 

Methuen Police Chief Joseph Solomon said there were a number of men looking for trouble one of them fired several times at the man.

Luckily he wasn't killed but he was shot a couple times and was brought to brought to Lawrence General -- No word on their condition. 

According to Solomon the lesson if you're going to seel something to strangers, do it in the Police Department Parking Lot. 

Police are still searching for the shooter.
