Second Whistleblower Has 'First-Hand Knowledge' About Trump-Ukraine Scandal

President Trump Departs White House For Florida

A second whistleblower has come forward with "first-hand knowledge" about the Ukraine scandal. Attorneys representing the first whistleblower confirmed they are now representing "multiple" officials.

Attorney Andrew Bakaj said his firm is working with the whistleblowers in connection with the August 12th disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

"I can confirm that my firm and my team represent multiple whistleblowers in connection to the underlying August 12, 2019, disclosure to the Intelligence Community Inspector General. No further comment at this time," Bakaj wrote on Twitter.

Attorney Mark Zaid, who is also part of the legal team representing the whistleblowers said that one of their clients has already spoken with the intelligence community's inspector general, but will not be filing an official complaint.

The original complaint alleged that President Donald Trump used $400 million in foreign aid to pressure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter and sparked an impeachment inquiry by the House of Representatives.

President Trump has denied he did anything improper and called the impeachment inquiry a coup attempt.
