HINGHAM (WBZNewsRadio) - He's no stranger to the single parent community on the South Shore. Clint Smith, also known as The Taco Guy, has been known to donate food to those raising children on their own, and now he's partnered with Weston nurseries to donate Christmas trees.

"I try to pay back what's been given to me in life and hopefully it just continues on." He told WBZ's Chris Fama.

Having been raised by a single mother himself, the Taco Guy has a soft spot for those raising little ones alone.

"It's for single parents who are struggling out there. a young lady was just here 20 minutes ago and she had four children and she was by herself. She was stoked! I ended up sending them along their way with their tree and their tacos." Smith said.

Through out the week between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Weston nurseries in Hingham will be donating a tree a day to a deserving single parent and five trees on Sunday, December 4th. It's first come, first serve.
