BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston college students are leading the nation in Chipotle delivery orders.
That’s according to data published from Chipotle U Rewards program earlier this week that surveyed ordering habits from college students across the country.
Columbus, OH, is the top destination for group and guacamole orders, and Norman, OK, orders the most burritos.
Here in Boston, college students take the queso when it comes to convenience and agree with the results.
“You can get a really good, well-rounded meal for a decent price,” one student told WBZ NewsRadio.
Curt Garner, Chipotle President and Chief Strategy and Technology Officer, said the rewards program provides “real-time” look at how Gen Z engage with the brand, which is something that remains popular among local college community.
“[I spend], a week, maybe like 70 bucks [on Chipotle],” another local student said.
Garner added that the survey allows the company to deliver more personalized value for their younger generation of consumers.
