Thanks to Hometown Arcade in Norwood and Northampton, there are now some 20 80s and 90s era arcade machines at Terminals A, B, and C at Logan Airport. Most of them set up at baggage claim, all of them free to play.
"Retro stuff is more cool because, you know, I don't see it that much around. And if it's free to play, you know, I'm going to play it," one traveler said.

Those waiting can play Frogger, Galaga, Donkey Kong, and Pac-Man. Since the airport is a mountain of waiting, some international travelers say they are just glad there's something new yet old to pass the time with. Between check-in, security, and boarding, one traveler from China said he has never actually played these games on their original 80s and 90s-era joysticks, only the emulators.

"I only played this kind of game on a computer PC. But the first time I've seen the classic arcade in real life, it's kind of like a shock."
