BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police are looking for a man suspected of breaking into homes on Heath Street in Jamaica Plain.
According to authorities, one woman reported Wednesday morning shortly before 7 a.m. that a man had climbed through her bedroom window while she was sleeping. He allegedly tried to rip a blanket off of her before fleeing out of the window.
The suspect is described as a young black man, in his late teens or early twenties, with short hair and a slim build.
In a separate incident shortly before 4 a.m. on Sunday, another woman told police that she woke up in the middle of the night to a man shining a flashlight into her room. She said the man put her pet into the room and closed the door.
The woman said she then left her bedroom and saw the man in her bathroom before he fled the apartment through a fire escape. The suspect allegedly stole her laptop, kindle, and purse.
The suspect in this incident is described as a black man in his twenties who was wearing dark pants and a dark shirt.
