Bridgewater Teacher Pulls Fire Alarm Following Gun Concerns

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police say that a teacher at Bridgewater-Raynham High School pulled the fire alarm to force an evacuation Wednesday morning after hearing a threatening statement.

According to WBZ-TV, the teacher heard comments from students about a gun.

The school has since been deemed safe and students were allowed back inside.

A student at the school tweeted out that “not a single student was notified of a threat” when the evacuation occurred.

Police have asked parents not to come to the school and have said that school has resumed. The incident is under investigation.
