BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A parking lot at Bunker Hill Community College is now a temporary snow farm.

Dump truck after dump truck rolled into Lot 1 at Bunker Hill Community College, unloading snow collected from roads, intersections, and ramps. Folks in Charlestown are hoping their excessive supply will be added to the ever-growing mountain.

"I'm hoping that they get to Charlestown at some point and take some of the snow. I heard they were here yesterday, so I hope they come back," one resident said.

Boston Public Works has already removed over 2,500 tons of snow from the streets. Experts predict more snow is on the way this Sunday, which is giving some residents dark flashbacks.

"It's definitely giving 2015 vibes, which I don't love. But hopefully we'll have a little bit of snow, and then it'll move on," another resident said.

"Yeah, it's kind of feeling like that snowmageddon," one resident explained. "Yeah, we need some heavy machinery to get this snow out of here and bring it somewhere else."

There's still plenty of room at Bunker Hill's college's lot.
