DUXBURY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The husband of the woman who allegedly killed their three children in their Duxbury home and jumped out a window during a mental health episode back in 2023 has filed a lawsuit against her doctors.
Patrick Clancy filed a new lawsuit in Norfolk Superior Court on Wednesday against Lindsay's healthcare providers, claiming that she was suffering from postpartum depression and was overprescribed several medications, like antidepressants and mood stabilizers. He also claims she was not properly cared for despite a known history of mental health problems.
The wrongful death and malpractice lawsuit is against his wife’s psychiatrist, Dr. Jennifer Tufts at Aster Mental Health, and Rebecca Jolotta, a nurse practitioner at South Shore Health System.
It was three years ago in January that Lindsay Clancy allegedly strangled her three children and then attempted to take her own life, leaving her permanently paralyzed.
