Marvel's 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Features Scenes Shot In Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The latest blockbuster from the Marvel Cinematic Universe "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," has a plethora of scenes that were filmed in Massachusetts, with some action sequences shot in Worcester.

The sequel to the 2018 film "Black Panther" grossed big at the box office for its opening night— bringing in around $84,000,000 on Friday, according to IMDb.

The movie features a high-speed chase filmed in three different parts of Worcester, though they're meant to represent a fictional Cambridge. "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" has shots of the Ernest A. Johnson Tunnel at Lincoln Square, a stretch of Main Street in front of the Worcester County Superior Court, and the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul at Chatham and High Streets.

Moviegoers have been donning clothes in all white to honor the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who starred as King T'Challa in the original "Black Panther" installment.
