The T is hoping to improve service reliability for riders with the installation of the line's new digital signal system, which is currently being commissioned. Pre-testing for the new system was done last month.
Travelers planning to use the shuttle buses are advised to budget an extra 15 minutes to their commute.
In addition to the shuttle buses, the agency is also encouraging commuters to utilize the Fairmount Commuter Rail Line at the Blue Hill Avenue station.
Transit Ambassadors and MBTA staff will be available to offer assistance during the service changes. Riders can also subscribe to T-Alerts to get up-to-date service information.
