REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Revere woman is to be arraigned Monday on multiple charges, including driving while under the influence of alcohol and child endangerment.

Cecilia D. Miranda, 37, left her car in a ditch shortly after midnight Sunday. She will be arraigned on multiple motor vehicle infractions including leaving the scene of a personal injury crash and child endangerment.

Miranda was arrested Sunday at Massachusetts General Hospital. Officials say she was drunk when she rolled over a red Nissan Kicks that had two children inside. One child was six, the other was 10. Both children suffered severe injuries.

Miranda allegedly left with the six-year-old child in a bystander’s vehicle. Another bystander took the 10-year-old child to a local hospital.
