BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Shuttle buses will replace service on the Orange Line between Back Bay and Forest Hills starting on Thursday.

The service suspension will allow crews to continue to work on improvements for Ruggles station to provide commuters with better travel experience.

The MBTA says that riders using the shuttle bus service should budget at least 30 minutes of additional travel time or use fare-free commuter rail service between Forest Hills and Back Bay.

The shuttle buses will run until Monday, Sept. 14th.

WBZ NewsRadio’s Chris Fama (CFamaWBZ) reports.
