BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Six Providence men are accused of trying to rip off a Home Depot in West Roxbury.

Jose Pirir, Abraham Dayger-Enrique, Miguel Perez, Franclin Salas, Jonathan Amperez-Perez, and Abner Perez are all facing larceny charges, according to the Suffolk County D.A's office.

The Suffolk County D.A says the six men showed up to the Home Depot on the VFW Parkway on Thursday, Dec. 8. Home Depot employees told Boston Police that the six men had come to the store and taken a bathtub box and stuffed it full of electrical wire worth close to $18,000.

The D.A's Office then says the men only paid for the bathtub, and left the store. Police were called to the store on Friday morning when the men showed up again and allegedly started filling kitchen cabinets with even more electrical wire.

Police say they caught the men as they were trying to check out with the kitchen cabinets.

A search of their van outside yielded Home Depot receipts from all around Greater Boston, the D.A. said. All six men were ordered held on bail up to $1500, and told to stay away from Home Depot.
