BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Suffolk District Attorney Office has charged a woman who allegedly pushed another woman onto the MBTA Green Line tracks last week.
In a statement to WBZ NewsRadio, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said Nyleamah Tinnell Kinsey of Boston is being held on $15,000 bail after being charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
Police said Kinsey, 50, was caught on surveillance pushing the 61-year-old victim onto the tracks at North Station on Thursday. MBTA Transit Police said they arrested Kinsey the next day.
The victim suffered numerous injuries from the attack, the D.A. office added.
“It isn’t difficult to imagine the fear this victim must have felt after such a shocking assault. I thank the good people who helped her, and I wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries,” Hayden said.
Kinsey is expected to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on Jan. 5.
