Teen Arrested Following Stoneham Stabbing

STONEHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Stoneham have arrested a teenager in connection to a Friday night stabbing.

A 17-year-old boy was charged after a 20-year-old man came into the police station with a stab wound.

Police say the victim knew the teenager, and the boy had stabbed him near Capen Street during an altercation.

The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The teenager is now facing charges of armed robbery, assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, and serious bodily injury.

The incident is currently under investigation.
