BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MBTA has announced the release of roundtrip train tickets from South Station and Boston Stadium for the World Cup match on June 29.
Tickets will cost $80 and will only be sold through the MBTA mTicket app.
Riders are encouraged to buy their tickets in advance and can purchase them based on boarding groups, which can be found by clicking here.
The roundtrip tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable and should be purchased by fans with a same-day match ticket.
The MBTA also requires that passengers register their email address to purchase their ticket on mTicket to complete this process.
Trains to Boston Stadium are the only public transit mode to Boston Stadium for match days and all fans, including children 11 and under, must have a ticket to board the train.
Ticket sales will close once the maximum capacity for the train is reached and tickets for the quarter final game at Boston Stadium on July 9 will be announced soon.
Regular Commuter Rail tickets and summer promotions are not valid for this roundtrip to Boston Stadium.
