MEDFORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Some buildings at Tufts University have been evacuated for the school's second bomb threat in less than 24 hours. Officials at Tufts say several academic buildings were evacuated, including the Departments of Philosophy and Mathematics. The University's Undergraduate Admissions office was also evacuated.

The school said officials were sweeping the buildings on Thursday morning, and had cleared some of them by about 10:00 a.m.

It's the second bomb threat in the space of a day at the university. The other threat on Wednesday was in the form of an email from someone upset at the school's courses on diversity, according to the Boston Globe.

Thursday is the first day of Fall Semester finals at the university.
