BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Bruins are on an absolute tear! They're 18-1-and-4 their last 23 games after earning their 5th straight win last night in the Big Apple against the Rangers.

Boston's climbed within one point of Tampa for the top spot in the N-H-L, with a game in-hand.

What's the secret to the B's success?

"It's been a process early on, with the amount of injuries we had and the adversity we went through," said Brad Marchand. "Now, how we're feeling and how we've gelled as a team, we're not overly concerned about the standings right now. We're just concerned about our game and getting ready to play every night, then everything will play out."

So, how good have the B's been? They haven't lost on the road in regulation in more than 2 months and they're 10-0-and-2 their last dozen away from the Garden.

Last time the Bruins lost consecutive games anywhere? Mid-December.

Boston will welcome Buffalo to town Saturday. Sabres have 38 points - about half the B's 74.

Hear from Marchand and Zdeno Chara below.
