Redskins Send Terrible Message Adding Reuben Foster

BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- On or off the field, Reuben Foster's not known for keeping his hands to himself.

The Niners released the linebacker Sunday following this third domestic violence arrest this year alone--but, two days later, Redskins claimed him off waivers.

Washington vows it understands the circumstances and says Foster will have to go through numerous steps before he ever steps on the field.

Foster's been placed on the Commissioner Exempt list as the league reviews his situation, but there's been a public outcry against the 'Skins.

The message is simple, and we've seen if time and time again in the NFL: If you can play, you've got a job, humanity be damned. Look at Greg Hardy or Adrian Peterson.

If you can't play, no job. See: Ray Rice.

And, if you kneel for the National Anthem ... well, that's another matter all together.
