BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Patriots take on the Cowboys Sunday afternoon in Foxborough. WBZ NewsRadio's Adam Kaufman and Boston Globe NFL reporter Ben Volin preview that match-up, discuss the latest goings-on with Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Brown, and more in the Week 12 Red Zone Report.

Gronk's "big announcement" was that he's hosting a Super Bowl party in Miami, so we can safely assume he won't be coming back to the Patriots this year. But is there any chance he returns in 2020, or 2021?

"I'm sure we'll hear plenty about it in the spring," Volin said. "But I get the sense that he's moved on. Look at all the weight he's lost. I think he's enjoying life without football. I don't think he particularly liked the grind of it toward the end of his career. Obviously, the beating it put on his body, he was not a guy playing with a lot of joy toward the end ... I just don't see Gronk as wanting anything to do with that. I'm sure he will keep it alive for as long as he can just to help with his marketing and his relevance, but I think we can pretty much close the door on Gronk playing again."

Will Antonio Brown's apology on Instagram for Robert Kraft lead to a New England reunion?

"I think chances are very, very very slim that Antonio Brown would come back at this point," Volin said. "He would need to be cleared by the NFL, which, I saw there was a report on Wednesday morning from Pro Football Talk that Antonio Brown's camp is hopeful that Brown will be cleared soon by the league ... It's gotta be tempting, and you know that Tom Brady and a lot of the offensive players would take him back. Especially now, it's getting to crunch time, and the offense is still pretty dysfunctional, and figuring its way out, and could certainly use a guy like Antonio Brown to help them move the ball."

Kaufman and Volin also discussed what a difference N'Keal Harry and Isaiah Wynn could make for the Patriots, weigh the chances the Pats will figure out their offensive struggles before the playoffs, and preview Sunday's home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
