RMV Braces for Deadline. The Registry of Moter Vehicles is bracing for the rush of drivers trying to get their Real ID before the May 7th deadline. This is a hard deadline, whereas in years past the Covid pandemic delayed the process. It has been nearly impossible to get an appointment at the RMV due to the influx of people, so the Registry is now talking walk-in appointments to help mitigate the process. What has been your experience with getting a Real ID or trying to?
Trump’s High-Profile Legal Battles. Following Harvard University’s rejection to follow the Trump Administration’s policy change demands, the Trump Administration has now frozen roughly $2.3 billion in federal funding to the school. Two organizations representing the faculty of Harvard University sued the Trump Administration over the freeze. The admin’s legal battles don’t stop there…the Dept. of Justice is suing Maine over what they say is the state’s violation of Title XI. Do you think the Trump Admin. is overstepping its authority?
