Former Boston City Councilor Seeks Election. Frank Baker, a longtime Boston City Council member who served 6 terms over 12 years as a district councilor representing most of Dorchester and parts of South Boston decided not to seek reelection in 2023. Flash forward to now and the former councilor has decided to seek election as a Boston city councilor at large to represent the entire city of Boston. Baker says after hearing a “steady beat of Bostonians urging me to step back in and get involved” he decided to answer that call. Frank Baker joins us tonight to share his story and take listener calls!
Trump’s Ongoing Battle with Harvard. The latest in the ongoing battle between the Trump Admin. and Harvard University, includes an effort by the Trump Admin. to bar the university from using the Student and Exchange Visitor Program for not complying with their demands to supply information on student visa holders. Harvard followed up with a lawsuit against the administration for violation of the First Amendment, the Due Process Clause, and the Administrative Procedure Act, to which a federal judge temporarily blocked the Admin. from revoking Harvard's ability to enroll international students. Dan takes aim with the President's battle with Harvard and thinks he's wasting political capital. Do you agree or disagree?
