Man, It’s Dark Outside…! Now that Daylight Savings Time has ended, we’re experiencing less daylight and for many, that change brings about sadness or depressive episodes as a result. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, millions of adults experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (sometimes referred to as seasonal depression) in the United States. Do you think less daylight affects your mood? How so? Do you suspect you might have seasonal affective disorder? Dr. Varsha Radhakrishnan, a psychiatrist at Tufts Medical Center, will join us this evening to discuss and take your call!
Election Day in America! November 4th is Election Day in America. We’ll have our eye on some of the local races in Boston such as the Boston City Council race but some of the big races people are watching out for are the New York City mayor’s race, the gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia as well as Prop 50 in California. We will cover all the big races, checking in with the WBZ Newsroom throughout the night as results come in!
