Over the weekend, on Saturday specifically, New England residents from Massachusetts down to Rhode Island and up to New Hampshire heard a loud sonic boom across the region when a meteor passed through our atmosphere. Did you hear it? Where were you? Dan Rea heard it and thought a tree fell on his house! We spoke with Boston Globe meteorologist Ken Mahan and James Ryan, professor emeritus of physics and a researcher at the Space Science Center at the University of New Hampshire, all about the meteor explosion! We heard from listeners all about their experiences!
