Stranded Driver In Revere Gets Help From Good Samaritan

REVERE, MA (WBZ-AM) -- It was a miserable day for a number of residents along Route 1A in Revere, who had to deal with the flooding in addition to several inches of snow and howling winds.

Mackenzie couldn't get home for at least four hours because her flooded neighborhood was blocked off and on top of that her car got stuck on the General Edwards Bridge.

Several vehicles passed by but one driver stopped to help dig her out and pushed her car off the snow

“I was like Thank You...Thank You that was really sweet I would still be up there every wasn't for him…I would like to say thank you very much you deserve a medal and a cookie” she said.

WBZ NewsRadio1030’s Bernice Corpuz reports.
