BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) - A fast-moving storm will hit the region Tuesday, piling additional snow on top of Sunday's accumulation.
The National Weather service is calling for a widespread 3-6 inches, with higher snow amounts north and west of Boston, and lesser amounts south and east towards the coast. A Winter Weather Advisory has already been issued for every county in Massachusetts besides the Cape, Islands and Bristol and Plymouth counties.
Metro Boston is forecast for 3 inches of snow. The snow is set to start in Greater Boston at around 10 AM Tuesday, and move out at 5 PM.
Temperatures will become frigid by the weekend, with overnight lows in the low double or even single digits.
